yours. A lunchbox staple that doesn't need a health claim on the label, because you made it.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup roasted ragi (finger millet) flour

1/3 cup Kshetra Veda A2 Gir Cow Bilona Ghee

3 to 4 tbsp Kshetra Veda Raw Multiflora Honey

1/4 tsp cardamom powder

2 tbsp finely chopped nuts (optional, skip for very young children) .

METHOD

1 Warm the ghee in a pan and add the ragi flour. Roast on low heat, stirring constantly, until it turns a shade darker

and smells toasted, 6 to 8 minutes.

 • 2 Take off the heat and let it cool until warm, not hot.

 • 3 Stir in the honey, cardamom, and nuts.

 • 4 Once cool enough to handle, shape into small ladoos. This is the part to hand over to the kids.

 • 5 Store in an airtight jar for up to a week.
