Makhana roasted slow in ghee until it turns golden and starts to crackle, then a drizzle of wild forest honey off

INGREDIENTS

3 cups makhana (fox nuts)

2 tbsp Kshetra Veda A2 Gir Cow Bilona Ghee

1 tbsp Kshetra Veda Raw Wild Forest Honey

1 tsp sesame seeds

Black pepper and rock salt, to taste

METHOD

1 Warm the ghee in a wide pan on low heat.

2 Add the makhana and roast slowly, stirring often, until golden and hollow-sounding when tapped, about 8 to 10

minutes.

3 Take the pan off the heat, then drizzle in the honey and toss quickly so it coats without burning.

4 Finish with sesame seeds, black pepper, and salt.

5 Serve warm, straight from the pan if you can get away with it.
